Reusi Bhālacandra

Reusi Bhālacandra

Devoted to the study and the practice of Traditional Sciences, including Sak Yan, Andrea Mario Benucci received initiation into the Reusi Tradition in 2012 by Ajahn Prasong, Reusi Petch Dam, Reusi Sompit, Tevijjo Yogi and other Reusi.

Since then, the study, practice and preservation of this Tradition has become his single focus. By sharing Sak Yan, divination and the practice of chanting and Meditation with others, Bhālacandra aspires to benefit beings who are suffering by introducing them to this genuine Tradition, which leads to knowledge of one’s self and, ultimately, to liberation.

The Thai term Reusi originates from the Sanskrit word Rishi, meaning seer. Reusi are the holders of the natural laws and sciences, which have been passed down over the millennia. The goal of a Reusi is to understand nature and natural law. This includes learning, practicing and preserving the various Traditional Sciences such as Astrology, Medicine, Meditation, etc. The Reusi Tradition had been around for many thousands of years before the birth of Gotama Buddha. When we look at Buddhist texts, we find that even the Gotama Buddha was a Reusi in many of his past lives. – For more info see www.sakyan.org
