Eleanor Goroh @ Tipung Puyang

I am an artist and cultural worker focusing on the traditional arts of Borneo. My medium is beads, music and tattoo.

We harvest our own seeds and roots (our medicine) and string them into beads, mixing them with stones, glass, wood, shell and brass bells.

We play our forest music instrument, the mouth-organ, nose flute and jaw harp.

We hand tap tattoos with wooden sticks made out of our endangered rainforest trees.
